The Suns rounded out the first week of the season with a really impressive away win in Perth against the Eagles, running right over the top of their opponent to win by 27 points.

Matt Rowell was simply fantastic for the Suns, racking up 33 disposals and six tackles.

But he wasn’t the only shining light.

Izak Rankine had 23 touches (18 kicks & 4 goals) and Touk Miller gained 629 metres for his side and the young Suns were full of running late in the game.

The defending premier were challenged during the first half by the Western Bulldogs and they responded as a good side does.

The Dees are the real deal and if they stay fit and injury free throughout 2022 my opinion is that they will go back to back.

There is some money to be made throughout this season backing the Dees at the line because they are capable of putting on very quick points against sides.

Especially a young Suns team that is still finding their feet.
