Two of the oldest rivals in football go head to head at the MCG in front of a huge crowd and the stakes could not be much bigger, especially for the Blues.

A win for Carlton would release the pressure valve massively and there is a part of me that think the Blues may just get up for this one despite the overwhelming evidence against that opinion in recent times.
