The Tigers are back in the hunt for a top-eight spot this week after disposing of the inaccurate Bulldogs last Saturday night.

Shai Bolton led the way with a spectacular performance that included a ‘Goal of the Year’ contender, while Tom Lynch also enjoyed a four-goal fill-up in Richmond’s 38-point win.

The Crows, on the other hand, suffered an honourable loss to Essendon in the final few minutes – their third defeat of the young season.

Adelaide has now lost two games so far this year by no more than four points, an encouraging sign for Matthew Nicks’ side as they continue their rebuild.

Looking ahead, the Tigers are rightful favourites heading into this clash, but this is still a big test for them playing on the road.

The Crows have proven themselves to be a handful this year, and they’ve only grown in confidence with Tex Walker back in the side and last week’s Rising Star nominee, Josh Rachele, doing freakish things alongside.

Adelaide has covered in four of its last seven home games as the underdog at the line, although their backline is a genuine query after giving up huge goal spurts to Essendon last week.

The Tigers should win this game, but for as impressive as their win was last week against the Dogs was, it’s hard to ignore the fact they lost almost every major statistical category outside of goal-kicking.

There’s a real case to be made for the Crows to cover, but overall, Richmond probably sneaks home in a close one.
