Nick Kyrgios backed to beat Andy Murray in Australian Open 2015

Patriotic punters are rallying behind Aussie teenage tennis sensation Nick Kyrgios to upset Britain’s Andy Murray in their Australian Open quarter final tonight.

Kyrgios is a $5.50 outsider at but is attracting the lion’s share of support with the online bookie. Murray is at the short odds of $1.15.

“We’ve taken five times the number of bets for Kyrgios compared to Murray,” Sportingbet’s Andrew Brown said.

“Based on their odds it would normally be the other way around, but Kyrgios clearly has the support of a nation behind him.”
