According to bookmaker William Hill, a Connor McGregor knockout is the $2.10 favourite result in the upcoming UFC lightweight title fight on March 5th against Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos.

However, the champion pair who will no doubt be entertaining media over the coming weeks, can’t be split in the head to head market ($1.90 each).

“McGregor’s been wanting the chance to fight up a weight since before Jose Aldo’s head hit the canvas at UFC194,” William Hill’s Tim Ashworth said.

“At $2.10, the knockout blow is McGregor’s best chance against the Brazilian with all the other methods of victory favouring dos Anjos. The head-to-head market is even at $1.90 each, but is likely to shift closer to the touching of gloves too.”

“Despite being the favourite last time, more bets were placed against the mouthy-Irishman, so it will be interesting to see what the punters think of his antics and chances this time around.”

In the other big fight, Holly Holm is the clear $1.28 favourite to defeat Miesha Tate.

In Holm’s first title defence since knocking out Ronda Rousey in Melbourne, a knockout is a very short $1.85.
