The Renegades have signed on Head Coach Michael Klinger, an accomplished T20 cricketer himself, having scored 5960 T20 runs in 206 T20s all around the world.
The med in red have also signed on another former BBL title-winner from the Scorchers in Shaun Marsh. Marsh is one of the all-time successes in BBL history, with a BBL career average of 49.48. Whilst his International career appears over, the 36yo left-hander steered WA to victory in the 2019 one-day final with a classy 82 off 84 balls. His expected full season addition will significantly strengthen an already impressive Renegades line-up.
Thunder will certainly win a few games in what will be an even BBL 09, however there are plenty of other teams with greater claims on a top-5 spot in 2019-20.
So with that said we’re tipping the Renegades to win.
