Preview:

The Heat scrambled their way to 146 in The Gabba season opener, Chris Lynn top-scoring with a modest 33. Alex Carey (70) guided the Strikers to a five-wicket victory with five balls to spare. Matt Renshaw’s blistering 90* off 50 steered the Heat to a six-wicket win in Adelaide with eight balls left after the Strikers set a target of 177.

The Strikers had keeper-batsman Carey absent on ODI duty in India. The Heat’s only unavailable player is Test sensation Marnus Labuschagne, who is yet to don the teal this season.

Brisbane start as warm $1.68 favourites at home. The Strikers are an enticing underdog option. Meanwhile, expect Chris Lynn – who has scores of 94 and 88* in the past three weeks – to bounce back after missing out in his past two innings.
