Lucia Valentina ($2.5) could not have been more impressive in winning the Vinery Stud Stakes over 2000m at Rosehill on April 5. The Kris Lees-trained filly is not bothered by rain-affected going and her latest win indicates 2400m will not be a problem, especially with master staying jockey Hugh Bowman in the saddle. She is only lightly raced and seems to still be improving.

Rising Romance ($6.5) and Zanbagh ($6) did not have the best of luck when fourth and fifth behind Lucia Valentina ($2.5) last start and have strong claims.

The Guy Walter-trained Zanbagh ($6) was a close second in the VRC Oaks in the spring and this is her main goal.

Rising Romance ($6.5) was second in the NZ Derby at her previous start and 2400m looks ideal for her.

Missvonn($16) is another from the Walter stable and ran well in the Adrian Knox Stakes at Randwick last Saturday, while Miss Selby ($17) is a Kiwi filly that has built a good record at home and should measure up. She did not appreciate the firm track last start when second in the NZ Oaks.

Forever Loved ($26) ran well for third in the Vinery Stud Stakes and will give them something to chase.
